Training Courses
March 15 - March 18 Vision for XDS Instruments
This course is recommended for individuals responsible for collecting sample spectra, modeling data, and performing routine analysis of products. This course, through a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, explores the theory of NIR, the application of theory through instrumentation, including Reference Standardization and Instrument Calibration, acquiring sample spectra, application of math pre-treatments and population structuring techniques available in Vision, the development of qualitative and quantitative models, and the application of those models in a routine analysis environment. |
|
March 15 - March 18 Vision Refresher Classes
Anyone who has previously attended one of our Vision classes is invited to attend one of the regularly scheduled Vision Classes (Vision for System II Instruments or Vision for XDS Instruments) at a significantly reduced cost. |
|
March 22 - March 23 Near Infrared Applications
This course is designed to address both general and customer specific NIR applications. Among the potential topics will be “Solid dosage form assay”, “Content Uniformity”, and “Fluid bed dryer moisture analysis”. Bring your data and/or your questions regarding potential applications of near infrared analysis at your facility. Learn what others are doing with this exciting technology. Custom applications can be discussed with prior approval. |
|
March 24 - March 25 Validation in the NIR World
This class is open to individuals with prior validation experience, current responsibility for validating a FOSS NIRSystems instrument, or with approval of the instructor. Confused by the Code of Federal Regulations? Come and hear the major NIR instrument manufacturer’s approach to addressing the issues. See and discuss what FOSS NIRSystems has done and suggests to address such issues as Electronic Records and Signatures, Vision software validation, FOSS NIRSystems hardware validation and User Application Validation. |
