MODULAR SYSTEMS

A patented monochromator and modular sampling accessories make FOSS NIRSystems instruments uniquely capable of analyzing powders, granules, solids, slurries, gels, pastes, and turbid or clear liquids, in any order. Users can optimize the measurement method in reflectance, transmittance or interactance mode according to sample type. Fiber optic probes permit the use of laboratory instruments for scale-up and reaction monitoring as well.

GATEWAY TO PROCESS

Speed, cleanliness and simplicity make NIR the ideal test method for the plant floor. Methods developed in the lab move easily on-site for raw material inspection and at-line testing. On-line NIR methods are developed using fiber optics as a window into the process. The patented FOSS NIRSystems scanning technology permits an optimum choice of wavelengths, efficient calibration development and straightforward implementation.
